Our Story
A Family Painting Legacy
Neal’s Painting Company Inc. began with Clarence Neal, who developed a love for the old buildings of the Haight-Ashbury while living in San Francisco during the 1960s. That appreciation for classic Bay Area architecture became the foundation for a company focused on restoration, waterproofing, and quality painting.
Jerome Neal, Clarence’s eldest son, took over the business in 1996 and continues to supervise the crews with the same pride and attention to detail. Today, the second generation carries on the Neal family tradition with a commitment to craftsmanship, preparation, and work that is built to last.
